2012 Swim And Dive Registration Form

The weather may be chilly out, but we are already planning to have the best Dive season ever this summer! With that in mind, don’t miss registration day on SUNDAY, MARCH 11 at the Dial's house, 5237 Wyntercreek Way.

To keep lines and confusion to a minimum, please note the following:

Staggered registration times: All participants with last names beginning with the letters A through L should plan to arrive from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM. Participants with last names beginning with the letters M through Z should arrive from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM.

Combined registration process: We have a combined registration process for the Swim and Dive Teams, so that you fill out ONLY ONE FORM and write ONE CHECK to the club for both teams. (Please note: you will need to bring two additional checks: one for swimsuit(s) and one for spirit wear.)

Please download the Registration Form and Information Packet. Fill out the form, print and bring to Registration to speed the process. Please also be sure to attach a photocopy of your insurance card to your registration materials!

Children who participate in both Swim and Dive will receive a discount on the total registration fee. Basically, if your child swims and dives this year, you will pay last year’s rate.

All parents of divers must work during at least 2 dive meets.  Please plan accordingly.  Parent jobs include concessions, scoring table, ribbons, and announcer. 

Swimsuits and Spirit Wear:  Our team suit vendor will be on-site so that you can buy your suit during registration. WSTC Spirit wear also will be on display so that you can order items, which will be delivered at the beginning of the season. Please note: you will need to bring two additional checks: one for swimsuit(s) and one for spirit wear.

Swimsuits:  Our team suit vendor is Friends Unlimited Swimshop.  The suit is a two year suit - the TYR Alliance Suit.  To order a suit, go to http://store.swimshop1.com/wynterhall-c185.aspx.

Practice begins May 15!

Practice times are as follows:

May 15 through May 24:

Monday:  4:00 to 5:30
Tuesday:  4:00 to 5:30
Wednesday:  4:00 to 5:30
Thursday:  4:00 to 5:30
Friday:  No practice, have a great weekend!

May 29 and forward:  Morning practices

Monday:  10:00 to 12:00
Tuesday:  10:00 to 12:00
Wednesday:  10:00 to 12:00
Thursday:  Fun day (day after meets)  10:00 to 12:00
Friday:  No practice, have a nice weekend.

Some afternoon practices will be offered.  Information to follow.

The meet schedule is the following: 

May 30:  Home vs. Smokerise
June 6:   Home vs. Redfield
June 10: Away vs. The Branches (please note this is a Sunday)
June 13: Home vs. Brookwood Hills
June 20:  Away at Smyrna

All meets will begin at 5:30, except The Branches which will begin at 6:00.

Diving Championships will be held at Georgia Tech.

June 24th: 9 and up
June 25th: 8 and under

Dive-a-Rama will be Friday, June 15th.  Coach Tim will provide information for sign-up.

Camps will be offered by Coach Tim at Marist the weeks of June 11 and June 18 from 12:30 to 3:00 pm.  To access information for these camps:  www.marist.com/athletics/summercamps2012.
